"I know I talked about it for the past couple of weeks in my blog and so here it is. I like Dale Earnhardt Jr. to win today at Talladega.
"Tony Stewart has been very fast all weekend, but I just feel like the 88 team will put it all together today at the superspeedway.
"It has been a long time since an Earnhardt machine has driven into Victory Lane, and I think Junior ends that streak today.
"He's starting near the front and if he can stay out of trouble and be in a position to win at the end, no one is better at finding a way to get to the lead in the closing laps of a plate race. Just think back to the Pepsi 400 a few years ago.
"Guys to watch are Stewart, Carl Edwards and maybe even Jeff Gordon, but it's the proud new bar and grill owner who takes the checkered flag."
