Good news for beet farmers

The idea of using beet juice to melt snowmakes me chuckle, mostly because it makes me think of the beet-farming,
over-the-top Dwight Schrute on NBC's "The Office."
All joking aside about the way Schrute would love this use
of beets (his character once monologued about how to best display his
wares in a roadside stand), it's an interesting use of a natural
product. It seems to fit pretty well with the movement toward "green" ways of living.
Plus, it seems like beet farmers might have trouble finding a market.

I find this take on beets very interesting. I wonder if anyone in east central Illinois will to use beats to melt snow? That would be something to see.
As for Schrute, I've seen his beats, and they're nothing to write home about... I'd rather have a fresh apple, or potato, over a beat anyday...

Question: Do you mean beets or beats? The only "beat"ing Dwight does was the time he pepper-sprayed Roy, ultimately saving Jim's life.

Yeah I guess I messed up the word beets there... it's been a long day.
And I remember that day Roy showed up. I remember it was very late at night, like 11, 11:30. Big fella comes in, screaming about God knows what. I think maybe Halpert had stolen his car, something like that. So the big fella pulls out a sock filled with nickels, then Schrute, grabs a can of hairspray and a lighter fluid and, well I don't remember the rest. Impressive move by Schrute though, turns out he's more than just the best Northeastern Pennsylvania based mid-size paper company salesman.

Dwight is such a strong guy because he absorbed his unborn twin brother's fetus before he was born. And he doesn't regret it.
