The 2009 Danville Dans home schedule includes a home opener on June 4, and 27 home games this year in the recently expanded Pioneer League, which has teams from as far away as Lorain, Ohio, and Slippery Rock, Pa.

 

It's going to be a much different kind of collegiate summer baseball this year with a new league name, new teams, a divisional setup, but still baseball played at a beautiful old park on Danville's south side, just off Interstate 74.

I can't wait for my first Chicago dog and cold beer at the ballpark.
