Frerichs joins the Burris-must-go chorus

State Sen. Mike Frerichs, D-Champaign, joined the crowd of Democrats (and Republicans) who are urging U.S. Sen. Roland Burris, D-Ill., to resign his appointed post.

And Frerichs wants a special election to replace Burris, who replaced Barack Obama, as Illinois' junior senator.

Frerichs said he believes Burris "was not fully honest" last month when he testified before an Illinois House impeachment committee about his relationship with disgraced (and deposed) former Gov. Rod Blagojevich.

The two guys that might be able to get Burris rollin' are Dick Durbin  and Barack Obama. It's going to take one of those two guys to abandon Burris before the vainglorious nitwit steps aside. Ya think Obama  will do it?

Not a chance that Durbin will show either thought or courage. Maybe if Obama orders him to dump the bum.

"not fully honest" come on, dude....he is a Democrat...

What do you expect?

Surely no one expects different after the Illinois track record of corrupt Dems and Repubs of which there is no difference.

Someday you will learn...stop voting for them!
