New day for TV This Week

Look for TV This Week on Fridays starting April 11.

We've published our weekly television listings section on Saturday for several years now, but the move to Friday helps smooth production for us and benefits readers as well.

Moving it to Friday allows us to change the listings cycle to Saturday through Friday rather than Sunday through Saturday, which should be more convenient for those who want to plan their weekend television viewing.

Saturday program listings also should be more accurate because we will get them from our provider only three days before publication rather than 10 as was the case with a Sunday through Saturday cycle. This will mean more accurate listings for Saturday sports events such as college football games, for example.
