YOUR Thoughts on the Illinois @ Ohio State game

Now that’s more like it. 70 points! There were a number of things in that game that were nice to see. Whether it was Mike Davis putting in little jumper after little jumper, or Trent Meacham making an appearance in the second half, the Illini showed no ill effects from their 33-point output against Penn State. Even Demetri McCamey had a nice bounce back game, so it looks like he’s feeling better. Still need to shoot more free throws though. That's the only thing I didn't like.
Who would have thought our Illini would have 22 wins on the season? 22 wins!?!? The season isn’t even over yet. This is crazy!
Once again, I am pressed for time this morning. I got to prep up on high school basketball tomorrow night (Urbana @ Mahomet-Seymour at 7:30). Also, I got to take care the First Word with Bruce Weber who is on with Stevie every Monday morning. You can catch this interview on illinihq once I get it put up. I usually have it up before 8am that morning, so if you miss it live, you don’t have to miss it altogether. Just check the pod cast section on our website to find it.
I would like to again here what you guys thought about that game. It went well last time as we had a few people share their thoughts in this blog and that’s awesome. That is why I call it the For the Fans Blog. I want it to be more of a discussion than a one-way conversation. Keep those comments coming.
And finally, for dave1956, it looks like that full bottle of Viagra worked after all, haha.

The game sunday was like watching pure chemistry in motion. I never once doubted the outcome at any part during the game. we played very well togather. Last year when i saw a zone... i just chaulked up a loss. This year its amazing watching us beat the living stuffing outta it. This is a great year.... im calling it now.... ILLinois big ten tourney champs.

I put the win more on the horrible zone OSU plays. I mean yeah we have to shot the ball, but how many jumpers did Tisdale and Davis have bout 5-8 feet out which is there bread and butter?!
I think we are a sweet 16 team in the right matchups, but any team that we play that has some driblle drive will rack up the fouls and force Legion and Co. to actually play more mins.
But still a great road win for us.

On side note, I sure hope that Webers top notch recruits do better than the top people from the Zookers class.
I believe if you look that class with Josh Brent in it has had all sorts of problems while here. Brent suspended, Martez Wilson stabbed, Dangelo McCary not part of the team anymore, etc.
