I am so blessed to talk to so many wonderful and creative people on the show each week. One of my favorites though in the recent past are twin brothers Logan and Noah Miller.

With no experience in filmmaking, they have made a film that is generating critical response from Hollywood. Their persistence to show their script to Academy Award nominated actor Ed Harris paid off: he read the script and agreed to star. They also recruited a cast and crew that had won 11 Oscars and 26 nominations!
It is a film they made out of love and a promise to their late father. Their father had issues with alcohol in his life which created many challenges including him being homeless and in jail. But the boys promised their Dad they would make this film...and they did...with no previous experience or a dime to their name!
The film "Touching Home" premiered at the prestigious San Francisco International Film Festival last April and won numerous audience awards. But they do not have a distributor and continue to work to get one so their film, which means the world to them, can be seen by a large audience. Reviews have been great!
We will check in with the Logan brothers from time-to-time to get an update on how they are doing. It really is an amazing story of what one can do if you really put your mind to it.
They tell of their story making this film in their great new book "Either You're In or You're In the Way," which is a great title! The sub-title is: "Two Brothers, Twelve Months and One Filmmaking Hell-Ride to keep a Promise to Their Father." It's a great read and higly recommended.

And keep listening to "Gary O'Brien and Friends" for more updates on the air. Way to go guys! Can't wait to talk to yuo again!
