Paul Peterson first came to prominence as Jeff Stone on 'The Donna Reed Show." he went on to have hit records, become the second youngest game show host in he history of television, star in movies and other TV shows, write many novels and then become an advocate for child actors with his group A MINOR CONSIDERATION. Paul and I have had the chance to talk and communicate several times before his scheduled guest spot yesterday (September 2) and he is the greatest guy. While I, and other listeners told me too, was/were looking forward to having him on the show, he had to cancel last minute due to a personal family emergency. Despite his frantic demeaner, he card enough to call me at work, on my cell phone and text me to let me know he would not be able to do the show, and to please tell the listeners he is sorry and apologized to me too. I thought the effort he made to make sure I got word, despite what was going on, was so admirable and beyond what he needed to do. What a classy guy. Paul will be rescheduled as soon as things settle at home and we all look forward to it very much. We'll hear about how he started recording records, his time on "The Donna Reed Show," why he got fired from "The Mickey Mouse Club" and why he is personally suing the Octomom! That's all to come soon! But until then, Paul and his family are in our thoughts and prayers. That is was should come first. And we will visit soon!
