Well back from vacation.  Travel to Chicago and central Michigan was refreshing.  Even though I was in the western part of the great lake state, I saw much more Wolverine representation, than I did Spartan display.  Had a chance to talk with some U of M fans about football, and they didn't seem very excited about the first year of the Rodriguez era.  They weren't  impressed with being ranked 24th in the then just realsed coaches top 25 poll.  State fans (also receiving votes)  seemed ready for basketball season to begin.  Also ran into an Ohio State fan.  When I reminded him about the game in Columbus with Illinois this past season, he just walked away, muttering something about the Rose Bowl.  Looking for some SPF 45 lotion I assumed.
