The Illinois volleyball team has moved up once again in the AVCA top 25.  The Illini are #16 this week after wins over Michigan and Ohio State.  Ashley Edinger is once again the Big Ten Defensive player of the week, and as a junior, the all time digs leader in program history.  Illinois plays at Iowa firday, and Minnesota saturday.  Both matches start at 7pm central, and can be heard on NewsTalk 1400 WDWS AM Radio in Champaign, or at fightingillini.com.

I belive that the illini are on course to return to the NCAA volleyball tournament this season, and are likley to host early round action in the event.
