Happy New Year everyone.

I regret that I have not posted lately, as work and holiday travel have not allowed me to sit in the same place for a very long time.

One of my new years resolutions is to blog more.  Others...I will leave to your imagination.

Loose leafs;

Anyone who saw the Alamo bowl should realize that Illinois lost to two pretty good teams in Missouri and Northwestern.  And that the producer of the broadcast must have been related to Chase Daniel.  Where were the shots of Biff and Muffy?

How can the Illinois Basketball team not be ranked in the Top 25?

The Illinois womens basketball team could be in for a long season if someone outside Jenna Smith doesn't step it up.  Smith had 21 points in the Illini's 53-38 loss to Wisconsin.  Three of the other starters had combined stats of;  2 points and 5 turnovers.

The Illini volleyball team finished  the season as the 11th ranked team in the country.  They should be top 10 preseason next year.  There will be a gathering for retiring coach Don Hardin at the end of the month.
