The Illinois womens basketball team makes the short jump over to Indianapolis for the Big Ten tournament starting thursday.  The Illini open play as the ninth seed against #8 Penn State.  Last season Illinois made history becoming the only ninth seed to ever make it to the championship round.  Can they rewrite history and win it all this year?  We'll see, as this team seems to play better with it's back against the wall.

The season's last edition of the Jolette Law Show airs today at 4:30pm on The Big Ten Network.

The Fighting Illini baseball team had a great road trip to Edinburg, Texas last weekend, going 3-0 at the Al Oletree Classic.  Freshman second baseman Josh Parr was named Big Ten co-player of the week, going 7 for 10 at the plate with 5 RBIs.  Illinois got quality starts from Phil Haig, Aaron Martin and Ben Reeser on the hill.  The Illini are back on the road this weekend, as they travel to Baton Rouge for a three game series with perrenial baseball powerhouse LSU.
