It IS surprising that anyone in modern America COULD be "surprised" that sHrillary would LIE to gain her main objective, residence at 1600

Pennsylvania Ave., Washington D.C. (AND all the POWER that entails)!

She (and Bill) have been given a "free pass" for their myriad of mendacity for soooooo long, I am SURE they are both shocked that their "fiends" in the media would actually TURN on them and reveal the true fallacy of their statements!! To be sure, they WILL NOT forget, and I would hazard a guess, it wouldn't happen again, EXCEPT for the fact that they have lived their lives soooo much in deceit, in their OWN minds, their words are true, no matter WHAT their statements! Just as the character "George" on the "sit-com about NOTHING" (Seinfeld) once said, "Its NOT a LIE IF you BELIEVE it! (emphasis mine) AND you can BET, the sHrillary BELIEVES it if she says it!!

BUT, as with ALL liars, eventually even their most strident supporters grow DISGUSTED with trying to COVER for the prevaricators!

Ms. Strassel, in her closing paragraphs states:

"...... Suddenly, liberals all over are remembering that they never really liked the Clintons, even as they defended them in the 1990s. Suddenly, they can sidle into a discussion about Mrs. Clinton's ethics, and all on a subject that (bonus!) is relevant to today's race. Suddenly, they can break free of the Clintons, much as New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson did earlier this week, with a look of ecstasy, as he ran toward the daylight and endorsed Mr. Obama.

Which is why it is no surprise that this week also saw the beginning of a tide of Democrats, many of them one-time Clinton defenders, calling on her to abandon her bid, laying out the reasons for why she cannot win this race, and telling her to let go for the good of the party. Mrs. Clinton, being a Clinton, may well ignore them. But what is clear is that questions about her character and honesty are no longer verboten. If she does stay in, answering them will become the new reality of her campaign."

But, as with ALL politicians with an EGO the size of (either one of) the Clintoons, she wouild RATHER destroy the democrat party than to concede to such an "up-start" as B. Hussein Obama! That is something I, for ONE, am hoping she will DO!! The current democrat party is leaning TOO far to Socio-COMMUNISM and AWAY from the FOUNDING PRINCIPLES of this GREAT country!!
