Walking through a dragon...

Hi all,

Well, other than a migraine and my computer battery's slow death, things are going well (and the migraine's gone now - yea!), but getting my computer screen going has been a bit of a challenge.
So now I'm at the hotel's computer and we're leaving the hotel in a couple minutes for a place with craftwork and a spa, and hopefully a computer connection so I can do a better update.
In brief, we've seen some very cool stuff, like a lake surrounded by statutes of deities, like a dragon you can walk through and inside its belly there's a Buddhist shrine. So I walked through a dragon. Now I can check that off my life to-do list!
We also took a high speed train that made a 60 mile route in 15 minutes flat. What's weird is that the ride felt so smooth, no acceleration or deceleration jerkiness.
Last night, we went to KTV, which is karaoke in a private room. It rocked. We danced and everyone sang (me badly) and the Taiwanese people knew English songs we didn't, and were shocked at our lack of knowledge.
It's time to go. I hope everyone has a great weekend. I'll send pictures next post if my computer cooperates, or someone else's does.
Amy
