Thanks again for the tremendous amount of feedback. And we've implemented some of the features you've asked for, like ...

- Our "Links" category on the upper right of the home page is growing by the day. We've included links to every Big Ten athletic department as well as a newspaper that covers each school. If there are other sites you'd like for us to include, let me know.

- Friday marks the start of our five-week UI Basketball Recruits video project. We filmed five key players — three recruits and two could-be recuits – during summer games at the Assembly Hall. Complementing the video stories is the work of our beat writer Paul Klee, whose stories on all five players will also be featured. UI recruit Brandon Paul is first up.

- We'lll continue to provide picture/audio guides like Bob Asmussen's popular tour of Camp Rantoul. Next up is Klee's guide to the Atkins Tennis Center, which is undergoing a serious expansion in hopes of the UI landing the 2010 NCAA finals. Tell us what you'd like to see, and we'll get cameras out there.

- Our chat lineup is growing. Here's the rotation:

11 a.m. Mondays — Loren Tate and Jim Turpin, who will transition to their "Monday Morning QB" radio show at 9 a.m. at WDWS.

TBA Tuesdays — Asmusse on college football. We'll have a time in a couple days when we figure out Bob's media responsibilities as Tuesday is a big interview day at the UI

12:30 p.m. Wednesdays — Paul Klee's college basketball chat

11 a.m. Thursdays — Brian Barnhart, the Voice of the Illini.

11 a.m. Friday — Complain to the HQ editor (that's me). I'll take questions about anything

Game days – Asmussen TBA followed by our day-long report starting two hours before kickoff and extending to the postgame interviews

- Speaking of expansion, our Memory Lane feature has received so much attention we're going to two games per week starting in September. Using our photos, Loren Tate's columns and Jim Turpin's memories, we'll relive a big moment in UI history as well as what was happening each week during the magical 1983 football season.
