-If I see another Illini player miss a layup while trying to get a foul... Get the blinking basket.

-Illinois will not get far in any post-season tournament if they continue to give up offensive rebounds. Tisdale, as good as he can be on offense and he can block some shots, simply does not rebound well. He needs to get positioning as he doesn't jump well enough for his height to be that much of an advantage. Mike Davis does, but he also lacks technique. Show these guys some old Wes Unseld films.

-When Illinois has to rely on threes this season, they will struggle obviously. Legion is simply not ready to take over a game yet and no one else really has that explosive capability. Meacham can get hot, but is frequently cold thru the mid and late season, and McCamey is mercurial with his shot.

-Illinois football. I'm unfortunately pessimistic at this point about next season. If someone can show me a place where Illinois will improve from last year, I would appreciate it. An offensive line that was a huge disappointment loses a starter....defense loses Will Davis, Vontae Davis and Brit Miller...tell me who will replace those guys. Hopefully I'll see some light by training camp but with the just plain ridiculous schedule they have next season (I'm looking at 1-3 non-conference easy) it could be another bowl-less season.

-Wow Tubby put a hurt on the Illini tonight. This team has bounced back in the past, hope they can do it again.
