Illini Hockey Club defending championship tonight

Hall of Famer Chad Cassell and his Ice Illini will be defending their National Championship tonight against Lindenwood, a team that beat the Illini 3 of 4 times they met in the regular season.

Two of those games were when the Illini had several of their top players overseas for the Worlds competition. The Illini have sweps thru the playoffs and look to be full strength for tonight. They took out a tough Penn State team last night 3-0 despite being out-shot.
Here's to a successful title defense!
