As seemingly is the case with every industry, layoffs and cutbacks are happening, and radio is not immune.
Today I found that my near-25 years with WDWS/WHMS has come to an end.
I was blessed to meet and talk with many interesting and wonderful people during my time there, got a chance to cover many exciting events, had a lot of fun.
Guest-hosted a couple of Coaches' Shows, co-hosted Sportstalk and got a chance to get Sports Night off the ground and running with what I certainly hope you thought were interesting and informative guests.
Not much to say but thank you to all of you folks who allowed me to be a part of your day throughout the years. Hopefully you were entertained, and if that didn't happen, thank you for trying me out.
The stations were a gigantic part of my life, heck, I even married Misty there last year. My life is much greater than that now, it's with family, friends, and now, a chance to get closer to God.
Misty and I wish all of you God's Blessings. We'll see you around, please say hi when you do!
Ladies and gentlemen, goodnight.
