Lack of good taste

What a drag. A summer cold, turning into bronchitis, and worst of all (or at least high up there) is the inability to taste. The finest cabernet would for the most part taste like a Gallo Hearty Burgundy. A good steak might easily be mistaken for fibrous cardboard. Raw onion might almost be confused for an apple. Last night's dinner was put together from past experience because I sure couldn't adjust the seasonings by taste. But hark, there is hope! I tried leftovers of the dinner for lunch today and it apppears as if my taste buds might be awakening from their slumber. Not that I will contemplate drinking a pricey wine tonight (wine helps bronchitis, doesn't it?), but at least I might actually be able to enjoy some vino, for medicinal purposes only of course. Ahh, life again becomes worth living...Comments
