The UIS Visual Arts Gallery is proud to present sculptural installations by Khara Koffel. The artwork is inspired by personal stories, relationships, and memories that relate not only to the life of the artist, but to the viewer as well. Khara Koffel is a faculty member in the Art Department at MacMurray College, and has exhibited her work at galleries across the country. The at some point exhibit will be on display in the gallery from Nov. 5 through Nov. 25. There will be a reception on Nov. 18 from 5:30-8 p.m. in the Visual Arts Gallery (HSB 201) with an artist talk by Khara Koffel. Koffel's presentation will begin at 6 p.m. There will be food and refreshments. The artist's talk, reception, and exhibit are open and free to the public. The Visual Arts Gallery is located in room 201 of the Health and Sciences Building on the UIS campus. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
