Rantoul man charged with sex abuse
URBANA – A 49-year-old Rantoul man is scheduled to be back in court Sept. 9 after being charged Wednesday with sexually molesting a child.
William Ashby II, who listed an address in the 500 block of West Penfield Street, was charged with a single count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse alleging that on June 20 he committed a sex act with a girl under the age of 13 at a home in Rantoul.
