Champaign man, 37, faces prison for stabbing woman
URBANA – A Champaign man who stabbed a woman as she shopped in a store faces up to 30 years in prison when he is sentenced next month.
A Champaign County jury Wednesday convicted Aaron Dobyne, 37, whose last known address was in the 200 block of East Hill Street, Champaign, of attempted first-degree murder and aggravated battery after 4 1/2 hours of deliberation.
