Snow removal will cost city about $170,000
URBANA – Urbana is about $170,000 poorer after receiving 17.5 inches of snow last week.
City Public Works Director Bill Gray said that was the tab for keeping city streets passable after 13.5 inches of snow fell on Tuesday and Wednesday, and then another 4 inches fell overnight Friday.
