Fighting students injure Urbana Middle School official
URBANA – An assistant principal who tried to break up a fight at Urbana Middle School on Friday suffered minor injuries, according to Urbana police.
A police report said two girls, ages 12 and 13, got into a fight around 12:15 p.m. Friday. The assistant principal tried to separate them and was hurt in the process, the report said. She was taken to a hospital but later released with a minor injury, the report said.
