Police still trying to figure out how man in car died

CHAMPAIGN – Police are investigating the death of a Champaign man who apparently fell while hanging out the window of a moving car on Windsor Road in southwest Champaign.

According to the Champaign County coroner's office, Andrew Johnson, 23, died at 9:14 a.m. Friday at Carle Foundation Hospital because of multiple traumatic injuries suffered in a motor vehicle accident. An inquest will be held later.
