First wave of Ameren relief going out
DECATUR – Customers of Ameren utilities in Illinois will begin receiving credits – or rebate checks – this month as part of a $488 million rate relief package designed for them.
Unveiling details of the relief package today, Ameren officials said all residential customers of AmerenIP, AmerenCIPS and AmerenCILCO will receive initial credits or checks of at least $85 over the next month.
