Philo woman injured in rural crash after corn blocks view
PHILO – A Philo woman was treated and released from an area hospital after her car collided with a van at a tall corn intersection last week.
Champaign County Sheriff's Sgt. Dan Coile said about 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Heather Meeker, 31, was driving east on County Road 1100 N approaching the intersection with 1700 E when her car hit the side of a northbound van driven by Elmer E. Fox, 74, of Indianola.
