Residents worry about crime in their Champaign neighborhood
CHAMPAIGN – A shooting on Walnut Street, following a police crackdown on prostitution, has some, but not all, residents of a north Champaign neighborhood concerned.
Felicia Cockrell, who grew up in the neighborhood and is president of the Beardsley Park Neighborhood Watch group, said some people have talked about concerns of crimes this summer.
