Rantoul pursues downtown TIF district
RANTOUL – After nearly five years of talks, the Rantoul Village Board is ready to proceed with plans to establish a second tax increment financing district.
This one would include both the downtown area and a proposed residential development not far from the new Wal-Mart Supercenter.
