Menard to present plans for Urbana site
URBANA – More than two years after it purchased 357 acres of prime real estate in east Urbana, Menard Inc. is laying out its plans to develop the property.
Officials with the privately held Eau Claire, Wis., company – the third-largest U.S. home improvement chain – will discuss those plans at Monday night's meeting of the city council, which is meeting as a committee of the whole. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. at the Urbana City Building, 400 S. Vine St.
