Judge orders psychiatric check for woman sitting outside house
URBANA – A Champaign County judge Friday ordered a 42-year-old woman who's been sitting outside a house in north Urbana for the last 16 days to be picked up for a psychiatric evaluation.
Noting that Jenine Ellison has remained in the same spot under a tree outside during several severe storms in the last two weeks, Judge Heidi Ladd agreed that an "emergency exists such that immediate hospitalization is necessary."
