Champaign murder suspect arrested in Chicago
CHAMPAIGN – A man wanted in connection with the murder of a Champaign man earlier this week was arrested Friday night in Chicago.
The Cook County Sheriff's Office, with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals, arrested Granville Sanchez Johnson at 3820 W. Lexington St. in Chicago at about 7:40 p.m. Friday without incident, according to a release issued Saturday morning by Champaign police.
