Six jurors picked for Arnette murder trial
URBANA – Jury selection began Monday afternoon in Champaign County Circuit Court for a Champaign man accused of the first-degree murder of his estranged wife.
Naomi Arnette, 37, was missing for more than four months before her remains were found in a shallow grave about 3 miles south of Sadorus on Sept. 30, 2007. Mrs. Arnette lived in a home in Sadorus with her seven children.
