Clinton woman dies in apparent assault in LeRoy

LeROY – An autopsy was scheduled Wednesday morning for a Clinton woman who was discovered dead Tuesday morning, the apparent victim of an assault, on the south side of LeRoy.

McLean County Coroner Beth C. Kimmerling said police were called to a report of an assault at a house in the 300 block of South White Street in LeRoy at 6:17 a.m.
