Urbana council reviews firm's report on downtown parking
URBANA – Stricter enforcement of the two-hour parking limit, adding diagonal parking along Main Street and Broadway Avenue and, eventually, adding a 400-space parking garage are among the recommendations contained in a downtown parking study.
The study was conducted over the past year by Rich & Associates, a Southfield, Mich., consulting firm. Planner John Revell presented the results of the $37,000 study Monday night to the city council.
