LeRoy man charged after DeWitt County woman found dead

LEROY – An autopsy was scheduled this morning for a DeWitt County woman who was discovered dead Tuesday morning, the victim of an apparent assault, on the south side of LeRoy.

Meanwhile, a 21-year-old man was being held at the McLean County Jail on murder and aggravated criminal sexual assault with a weapon charges in connection with the woman's death.
