15th District: Johnson wins easily
East Central Illinois residents overwhelmingly voted Tuesday night to send Republican Tim Johnson back to Washington for a fifth term in Congress.
Johnson led challenger Steve Cox, D-Urbana, 175,801, or 66 percent, to 92,348, or 34 percent, with 94 percent of precincts reporting.
