URBANA – The following criminal cases were resolved recently in Champaign County Circuit Court with sentences imposed by judges or guilty pleas:
– Paul McGee, 47, of the 1100 block of Prairieview Drive, Rantoul, was sentenced to three years and 10 months in prison for unlawful use of a credit card. He pleaded guilty to using his late mother's credit card in December to buy items at Wal-Mart in Rantoul. Testimony at his sentencing revealed that McGee ran up charges on her other credit cards while she was in a nursing home.
