Dems retain 15-12 majority

URBANA – While Democrats were sweeping national offices, the status quo remains on the Champaign County Board, with Barack Obama's party retaining its 15-12 majority.

Green Party candidates who had attended county board and nursing home advisory committee meetings were shut out at the county level.
