Rule change for electing LeRoy school board members rejected
LEROY – An attempt to make it easier to find prospective school board members has been turned down by voters in the LeRoy school district.
When the school district was set up, rules called for four board members to come from Empire Township, where the village of LeRoy is located, and three members to come from other, less populous townships.
