State grant allows for extra patrols by Danville police
DANVILLE – About $81,000 in state grants could force local drivers to slow down, wear their seat belts and drive sober this holiday season.
City police will be out this week monitoring seat-belt usage in eight locations throughout Danville in anticipation of holiday patrols that begin next week.
