Vermilion health department seeks $300,000 in credit
DANVILLE – The Vermilion County Health Department is asking the county for a $300,000 line of credit to ensure it can make payroll and other payments while waiting on Medicaid and grant money the state has been slow to send.
"We're anticipating that there will be continuing slowdowns with the state...and anticipation that we will have some cash flow problems," said Steve Laker, administrator of the health department.
