Bement to conduct door-to-door income survey
BEMENT – Bement residents can soon expect door-to-door surveyors around town.
The village is applying for a $100,000 emergency grant to fix the town's well that failed last month. In order to get that grant from the state Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, the village must prove that 51 percent of its residents are in the low- to moderate-income bracket.
