Danville panel to mull transfer of Renaissance's assets
DANVILLE – The city council's public services committee will consider Tuesday transferring Renaissance's assets, which consist of seven properties in the downtown area, to the city.
This year, the city cut its $130,000 annual contribution to Renaissance, a nonprofit organization created several years ago to rehabilitate old, historic, dilapidated properties in an effort to revive the city's downtown neighborhoods.
