UI police seek suspects in engineering-quad robbery

URBANA – Champaign County Crimestoppers and University of Illinois police are asking for help finding the people responsible for robbing a man on the engineering quadrangle south of the 1300 block of West Springfield Avenue in Urbana earlier this month.

About 12:20 a.m. on May 17, a man was walking south between the Beckman Institute and Kenney Gym. He walked past a man and was subsequently approached from both sides and to the front by that man and three more young men.
