Champaign teen facing court date on burglary charges

URBANA – A Champaign teen is due back in court later this month with a lawyer after being charged with residential burglary.

Kavurante Pettigrew, 17, who listed an address in the 1300 block of North Clock Street, is accused of entering the home of a person living in the 1700 block of Sandra Street in Champaign on Jan. 10 intending to steal.
