29-year-old dies after being hit by car in Mahomet

MAHOMET – A 29-year-old Mahomet pedestrian was killed when he was struck by a passing vehicle Saturday morning.

Champaign County Coroner Duane Northrup said Loren James Hinkle, 29, of Mahomet, died as a result of injuries he received in the accident.
