Latest UI crime data shows felonies down, assaults up
CHAMPAIGN – The crime statistics for the most recent school year at the University of Illinois have sort of a good news-bad news spin.
The good news is that serious felonies such as robberies and rapes were down, and no one was murdered. But the bad news is the number of people being threatened or beat up was higher than the year before.
