Dire effects foreseen on health from state budget situation
CHAMPAIGN — Public health administrators from East Central Illinois have joined the chorus of tax-supported agencies crying foul over the prospect of huge budget cuts.
“I’m looking at letting eight full-time employees and 12 part-time employees go,” said Doug Corbett, administrator for the Ford-Iroquois County Health Department.
