Rain alone won't cancel C-U parade

CHAMPAIGN – Only if there's the threat of dangerous weather will today's Champaign County Freedom Celebration parade through Urbana and Champaign be canceled, parade coordinator Eileen Morris said Friday.

Rain alone will not shut down the event, she said.
